Pukkuri Curried Chicken

This spiced twist on chicken wings makes all that curried goodness even easier to eat.
INGREDIENTS
- 6 chicken drumettes
- Salt & pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup milk
- Sweet chili sauce, to serve
- Cilantro, to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- Clip the skin from the bottom of the drumettes and fold up to look like tulips. Sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, curry powder, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, eggs and milk. Transfer to a tall, wide glass.
- Preheat oil to 340 degrees.
- Dunk each drumette into the batter, then fry in hot oil for about 5 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with sweet chili sauce.
